A gentle yet effective peel for a soft, dewy glow. Lactic acid is a naturally hydrating alpha hydroxy acid that loosens dull, dead skin cells while drawing moisture into the skin, so you exfoliate without feeling stripped. GlyMed+‘s professional lactic formulas also include brightening ingredients that help fade discoloration and calming botanicals to keep skin comfortable. Your peel strength is customized to your skin, starting gentle and building over a series. It’s a beautiful first peel, safe for all skin tones, and especially loved by clients with dry, dull, or sensitive skin. Expect mild pinkness and light flaking at most.
Best for: dullness, dryness, uneven tone, early fine lines, and first-time peel clients. -
A time-tested peel for clearer, more refined skin. GlyMed+ uses the original Jessner formula, combining equal parts salicylic acid, lactic acid, and resorcinol. Salicylic acid dives into pores to dissolve oil and congestion, lactic acid smooths and brightens the surface, and resorcinol encourages a deeper, renewing peel. The solution is applied in layers, so I can tailor its intensity to your skin, and it neutralizes on its own. Over the following days, skin sheds to reveal a fresher, smoother complexion with fewer breakouts and more refined pores.
Best for: oily or combination skin, congestion, breakouts, uneven tone, and early texture. -
My most powerful corrective peel for stubborn pigmentation. This 15% trichloroacetic acid (TCA) peel is blended with natural brightening ingredients that interrupt excess pigment production, plus antioxidant vitamin E and vitamin A. It targets sun damage, melasma, dark spots, and post-acne marks while stimulating collagen to soften fine lines. It’s formulated to be safe for all skin tones when skin is properly prepared. Because this is an advanced peel, a consultation, previous lighter peels, and several weeks of prep home care are required beforehand. Expect noticeable peeling for several days as fresh, more even skin is revealed.
Best for: hyperpigmentation, melasma, sun damage, acne marks, and fine lines. -
An advanced anti-aging peel that renews, brightens, and firms. This triple-action formula combines 10% TCA, glycolic acid, and retinol (vitamin A) for deep exfoliation and resurfacing. It softens fine lines and wrinkles, lifts hyperpigmentation, refines pores, and supports collagen and elastin for brighter, tighter-looking skin. It’s safe for all skin tones with proper preparation, and a consultation is required to make sure your skin is ready. Expect peeling over several days, followed by smoother, firmer, more radiant skin.
Best for: fine lines, wrinkles, loss of firmness, dullness, and pigmentation.
Before You Peel: Protecting Your Glow
A chemical peel works by gently removing the outer layers of skin so fresher, healthier skin can take its place. That new skin is delicate and especially sensitive to the sun. That’s why I ask for two weeks of minimal sun exposure both before and after your peel. Sun-exposed or tanned skin is more reactive, which raises the risk of irritation, uneven results, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (dark patches left behind after skin is inflamed). After your peel, freshly revealed skin has less natural protection, so even a little unprotected sun can undo your results or cause new discoloration. Here in the Las Vegas sun, this matters even more. A little planning keeps your skin safe and lets your results truly bloom.
Preparing for Your Peel
• Avoid tanning, sunburn, and self-tanner for two weeks beforehand. I can’t perform a peel on sunburned skin.
• Pause retinol, retinoids, and exfoliating acids (glycolic, salicylic, lactic) about 5–7 days before, or as directed at your consultation.
• Avoid waxing, dermaplaning, laser, or other exfoliating treatments on the area for one week beforehand.
• Some advanced peels require several weeks of prep home care. We’ll plan this together at your consultation.
Please let me know if you:
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding, since some peels aren’t recommended during this time.
• Have taken Accutane (isotretinoin) in the past 6–12 months.
• Get cold sores. A peel can trigger a flare-up, so you may want to ask your doctor about preventive medication.
• Have an aspirin allergy, active breakouts with open lesions, eczema, rosacea flares, or any recent facial procedures.
• Take any prescription medications or topical treatments.
After Your Peel
• Don’t pick or peel flaking skin. Let it shed naturally to prevent scarring and dark spots.
• Wear broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily and reapply every two hours outdoors. A hat and shade are your best friends.
• Use only a gentle cleanser and moisturizer until peeling finishes. Skip retinoids, acids, and scrubs until your skin has fully healed.
• Avoid sweating, hot yoga, saunas, steam, and swimming for 48 hours.
• Wait 24 hours before wearing makeup.
• Expect tightness, pinkness, and flaking for a few days, depending on your peel. This is a normal sign your skin is renewing.
Results Take Time
Many clients see a fresh glow after one peel, but deeper concerns like pigmentation, acne, and fine lines respond best to a series spaced several weeks apart. During your consultation, I’ll design a plan around your skin goals.
Chemical peels are a returning-client treatment. Because every peel needs to be matched to your skin, I only offer them to clients I’ve already seen for a facial or consultation. If that’s you, send me a request below. I’ll review your skin history and reach out to book your peel, or suggest a gentler path if your skin needs a little more prep first.
